They defaulted the 2nd map, dm14tmp, but CP played out dm8 against Z3on, Lucky, Coda and Blowfish, while I had my second attempt at coaching. Result? A 215-18 win to us. Well played guys.

Savage week one postponed game against dfl was finally played last night, despite Blueyonder still giving me a crap ping and z3on pinging over 100 most of the time.

Vikings Defeat 4kings In BWDML
|
Vikings have just took the BWDML division 1 title over reigning champions 4kings. 4k took the first game on dm7 81-79, then Vikings took the remaining two games 97-72 on cpm4 and 79-60 on dm14tmp. Congratulations to Vikings, if you would like to congratulate them u can catch them on Quakenet in #vikings.

Out Of Date??

It has been announced that the leaked Pro maps are in fact, out of date. Apparently, they are earlier beta copies according to ID Software designer Paul Jaquays. He has announced on the Quakecon forums that:
The leaked pro maps are old versions. They have all been changed since those versions. If you are planning to fine tune your play style to those maps, you may have some surprises in store for you later.

OSP have pushed out another version, now 99u. This will no doubt go up on the various servers soonish.

New Message Board

Wh00p :) We've now got a new messageboard. This is designed to be as simple as possible. The old netquake board was very easy to use, and as a result was actually posted to more than the new q3 one :/ Additionally we now have the last message post displayed on the side menu to help see when stuff is updated... Have fun and spam away :)

BWRA3 Week 2
|
Well, at 2pm today we were supposed to play SB (Spanish Bastards) on ra3map9. All credit and thanks to the EK side for turning up promptly for the game, but sadly SB didn't. It goes down as a 11-0 win to us which can't be too bad, although hopefully SB and any other clans which have no intention of taking part will be booted from the league.
Not sure where this puts us overall but I am guessing 2ndish.

BWRA3L S2 Week 1 Review , 2 Preview

Over on Quakenation some reviews of last weeks game and preview of this weeks have been posted here:
EK 11 vs. 5 vFH - vFH putting up a decent fight against division 5 hottest clan, yet I cannot see anyone else apart from git giving EK any sort of trouble in walking through this division
and for this week:
EK vs. SB - SB not showing last week, but if they do this week then they'll be in for a shock, playing division 5's top clan
