Thanks to Mr for a couple of great tight games (85:80 to us on dm8 and 90:77 to us on dm14tmp) earlier this evening. Another 'thank you' to [ek.bladderwee] for answering the emergency call-up when coda's cable went pop.
Congratulations to dawg for being almost psychic in his match predictions: [dawg] I wanna see EK get the beats :)
While we're here, big shout out to the EK members who beat KCDF 142:7 on dm7, and RIP 99:0 on dm6tmp. Played, guys.

Well I Joined BW4.. It was CA so I Joined red, with its 2 existing members. 4Q starts the usual shit, Join blue you wanker etc. Blue has 4 players... I say "if I join blue you lose mind :/" He returns fire with abuse once again, im lame etc.
I join blue, we win game after game. So I decide to duel him.
We get to a server. He picks t2 and the fun begins:

No more Clan Wars/no more Vs - jeopardy sheds a tear :/

Just wanted to announce that Clan-Wars is no more, due to ongoing server problems I have decided to pull the plug on the venture, so as of yesterday all Clan-Wars Leagues are off. The WPDML will be ran till the end of season 1 through our webby, but once that finishes, all Clan-Wars operations will finish.
Also as of today Clan *Vs* Virtual Suicide is no more, due to ongoing recruitment problems and people leaving there is no way we can carry on.

So, no more Clan Wars leagues :( (see my column soon for further thoughts on this) and also no more Vs, another shame.
Guess they are just havin to react to how the gaming community is going. I must say, EK are lucky in having a strong recruitment - as a clan we could easily have fielded 2 teams in BWDML/WPDML and played all the matches (with virtually no defaults or postponements). That said, i8 will probably be my Q3 swansong (unless I go back into Halls in 4th year) and come next year I don't see either bob or Djuhn having that much time to play Q3. Luckily (and I touch wood when I say this) the loss of 3 clan members won't spell the end of EK (even if we don't play any leagues, I'd like to think that EK would still exist as we are all friends) and the reason it won't spell the end is because we have a large clan roster. It'd be nice if EK can exist until the death toll finally rings over Quake, hell it'd be nice if the clan can survive until it's finally tolled for FPS games :)
