I spotted a website link on planetwolfenstein.com that is essentially, a config builder from generator.
Have a look, it may help you somewhat.

Out of MP ET cup already :(
|
Well ladies, I am happy to announce that we departed from MultiPlay's ET cup. The game against iD did not quite go as planned, but all credit to them for being good sports and remaining well focussed.
In other news, we played Enigma (a RTCW clan) in a friendly last night and managed to win, tonight we play 6!x on goldrush.

Multiple skins added
|
I think i am about done with the quake3 skin, so now people can select which one they would like to use. The choice is stored in the DB within their profile and remembered (as long as you are logged in).
Link to swap is on the menu bar or within editing your profile.
Also, now content filtering is complete--by selecting Q3 only or ET only, games displayed will also be affected, not just the news items. Currently there is one problem with filter swtiching, if done more than once in a single session, the 2nd time IE does not actually get the page off the server but displays a cached version instead.

Site changes for multgaming func
|
I have ammended our DB to accomodate for the 2 gametypes we play: ET and Q3. All the members' gametypes have been set and are viewable here.
Also, there are 2 types of public facing news categories: Q3 and ET. I have enabled filtering on the front page which will allow you to set your preferences for viewing either both categories, or each individual one.

New "old" redesign shocker
|
Seems as if ET is taking off for us, ergo the need for a new clan site for EK.
I decided not to tamper with the award winning combination that we have for EK.Q3 on http://elitekillers.net/ and tried to make the EK.ET site look like a networked sister page instead (both will run side by side)
I hope you like it as much as I do.

\o/ prodx \o/

Congratulations to EKeuro2, prodx, for a strong showing (3rd) in the OptimusGaming invitational tourney this weekend: [ESR] [Optimus]
Eurodx took down All*Aim on Saturday before knocking out dreg (who before the game said "I have to go and play some newbie now", according to a GTV spectator). It was disappointing to see dreg quit the final map when he realised he wasn't going to win (2/3 into pro-t4, down by a dozen frags), but I suppose that is the ego-protecting world of the pro-gamer and also the reason why gaming will never be a sport.

Clanbase ET Ladder - Game 1
|
We had our first game in the Clanbase ET ladder today, and got fisted :) WP to Bb, a rtcw clan who've moved on to ET who gave us a good beefing and taught us a thing or two into the bargain :) The ease at which we lost proves bigfoot's knowledge of the ET scene is about as good as his grammar:
Finally, two trialists joined the ET ranks. Welcome to Slunge (from q3 clan rB) and Pred (xE).

Jolt season finalle
|
The final week of Jolt q3dml season 5 took place on Sunday with us taking on poq and cs playing an important game against 3rd placed nvr.
With things how they stood all cs needed was a draw to win the league, however if nvr beat cs and ourselves beating poq by a reasonable frag margin we would win on frag difference, in typical ek fashion with this being quite an important game for us I forgot and ended up rather drunk in a beer garden, so was unable to play.
I don’t have much of a match report as I wasn’t playing however I am told we comfortably beat poq on both maps and got the frag difference required should nvr pull off a win.
I got home just as the 2nd maps were getting underway and as hoped nvr beat cs on pro-q3dm6 meaning they had it all to play for, cs however pulled out a 10 frag lead or so on milktdm and managed to hang on to it to get the draw needed to win the division.
This is by no means a disappointing season for us; we really haven’t had the activity we had expected for the majority of the season but still somehow found ourselves with a close 2nd place finish in Jolt & some impressive but not quite results in Barrysworld, I doubt next season will see any improvement on our activity outside of leagues, especially with summer now upon us but who knows!
Thanks to all the admins of Barrysworld & Jolt, see you next season.
